Today our beautiful Iraina turns 8! Ok, give me a sec – I just have to pull myself together as I realise that my second born is 8 whole years old!! what is happening? Time is flying way too fast. I remember when I first became aware of how each child reacts to the absence of their father. I think Iraina was one and a half Continue reading “What The Kids Need When Dad Is Away”
Just so you know, I’ve been wrestling between whether or not I should share these conversations with the World Wide Web. “Conversations” being with my two girls. Eventually Jude will join in but for now it’s just the two of them. Continue reading “The “Talk” with my kids : ‘The Naked Hug’”
So, I did it. I cut my long, treated, long black mane off. As some might say, “I feel so much lighter”, “I can feel the wind through my hair” uuuuuuummmmm, with a fro – aint no wind getting through this natural sponge. Hahahahahaha Continue reading “Afro’s back – Cut it all off”
