How do we protect my girls?

I’ve just had the most amazing conversation with my girls. There has been a lot of information overload over the last few days about abuse and gender based violence and, and, and, and…… Our car rides around to our various activities and appointments have been riddled with questions and points of view that we have been chatting about.

Yes, I totally agree that the world that we are raising our children in (and living in) is messed up, broken and filled with evil. And yet, after the few days that have passed – with all of the “scary” news and what this world is capable of – I find myself rising up on the inside, filled with a passion to further empower my girls. Faith vs Fear – how do I even?

Ok, so I’m still slightly freaked out by all of the snatching, kidnapping, school letters and all round bad news about child abductions. Like I wrote about child safety we need to do our best to educate ourselves, and our kids, about being safe.
